✰About Me✰
As an independent artist, I feel my purpose is to create art that holds up against time and the fleeting trends of the ever-changing music industry. I heavily value the importance of in-person music events. I possess a genuine need and desire to create art for myself. I write, arrange, and sing all of my music. All album and single art/photos that you see are created by me as well. It is important to me that my music evokes real feelings and ideas, and it is equally important to me that I create compelling visual counterparts to my musical works for my listeners and viewers.
My music journey started at age eleven during my first violin lesson. That was the moment that I fell in love with not only listening to music but playing it. Over the next few years, I learned to play several other instruments including guitar, mandolin, and bass. During this time I discovered artists that have become the most influential to me: The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Dominic Fike, RAYE, and The Rolling Stones just to name a few. I started listening to the music I loved with a more critical and interpretive ear. I soon realized that I didn’t just want to play music, but I wanted to write music that made me feel like I did when I listened to my favorite artists. More importantly, I wanted to share that feeling with others. So I decided I would write an album of my own.
I wrote and recorded my debut album, ‘Wrong Side of the Radio’, when I was sixteen years old. I celebrated the release of this project with an album release show at the Palace Theatre in my hometown of Gallatin, TN in 2023. The album’s main topic explored different decades and aspects of the music industry while loosely following a character’s journey through fame and a life plagued with “talent”. This album included the first songs I wrote, and it was this album that sent me down the precarious road of becoming an undiscovered, independent artist. I quickly had to learn everything that went along with that journey. I learned how to market myself as well as my music. I learned how to design a website and create email lists and other promotional materials. I spent days painting single covers and creating merch designs for the album. And I was forced to face my sworn enemy, social media, which I still try to stay cordial with even though it is a daily struggle. I also started to explore filmmaking and photography which were both new art forms for me. Most of 2023-2024 was spent diving into the music business and playing my own material live for the first time. Towards the end of 2024 I started writing concepts for a new album. I headed back into the studio to record that project this past December. I decided with the start of my new album I also wanted a change of scenery, so I packed up and rang in 2025 in my new home, Pensacola, Florida.
Now you are all caught up. I just turned nineteen. Florida is treating me well and I am busy planning the roll-out for my second album. I cannot fully express to you how proud I am of this upcoming project. You do not want to miss it. It is a really fresh and genuine concept riddled with artistry and love. I am not going to say too much about it, but it definitely pulls from my Southern roots and all the things that have inspired me over the years. You will clearly hear, through the words and music, what makes me me. It is an honest story told in a beautiful way, and I believe pretty much anyone can relate to it. It paints a very compelling vision of old Hollywood, coastal vibes, and Southern charm. I feel like I’ve really honed in on a sound that’s true and unique to me. I am in the process of working on a lot of imagery and material for this album (an album film is the ultimate goal). This project means so much to me and I’m taking my time with it. With that said, I will be releasing singles this summer. The full album will follow in the spring of 2026. If you are reading this, thank you for taking the time and I urge you to stick around. Follow me on my social pages, music streaming services, website, live shows, or all the above! I promise you won’t regret it. I hope to see you around!
